A senior portrait session for a Class of 2026 graduate, designed to go beyond the traditional yearbook photo and tell a fuller story of who this young man is at this milestone moment in his life. The shoot required versatility — capturing both the formality of graduation and the personality behind the gown.

Standard graduation photography tends to be stiff, formulaic, and forgettable — a student in front of a plain backdrop holding a diploma. The challenge was creating images that felt personal, editorial, and emotionally resonant while still honoring the significance of the occasion. The session also needed to work across multiple moods and settings without losing cohesion.
